Clan Logo

History
The Ryuutei Clan was secretly created during the Great Ninja wars, serving the Mist village in surprise and sneak attacks. Their methods and special powers were so unique and unorthodox, specially when they became into wild raging killing machines, that no shinobi from that time could actually tell that it was an attack from Mist village. Most of it members were never identified by other villages, having quite some trouble putting them into their Bingo Book. As the war run off, the clan remained intact, maintining it's offensive position.
Once the wars were over, the Mizukage couldn't find that much of a use to the clan anymore, while in the other hand, the clan members began more and more uncontrollable. Their loyalty was only to their clan, not especifically to the Mist village nor their ninjas. They started acting on their own, as a way to show to the Mizukage that they were not under his control at all. This has been the last drop to the Mist village.
It has been declared that all members of the Ryuutei should be killed in sight unless they joined forces with the shinobi squads and accepting the constant surveillance of their actions. All their privilleges and goods given by the Mizukage during the wars were taken away, and 4 members of the clan were hanged in a public square to make an example. Thus, the has clan split in two. Those who accepted the Mizukage condition, by order of the clan founder, Teuchi Ryuutei, and those who denied it and turned their backs against the clan, fleeing from the Mist Village to live in the wildd. Those have gathered under the name of Brother of Fury, who raised countless attacks against Kirigakure in order to take their revenge from the Mizukage.

The clan has been controlled with moderate efficience ever since, keeping the existence of the clan a top secret. The Ryuutei who joined the Kirigakure shinobi were forbidden to use their unique chakra, who ended up turning them into the wildest of fighters, with the risk of facing the death penalty in case they disobeyed. The Kirigakure kept the clan under control until the attacks of the Brothers of Fury begin to take effect, attacking and killing important members of the Council and the community. After several years of investigation, the Mist ANBU found out that Shinji Ryuutei, the new head of the clan after the founder's death, was aiding the rebels from the inside, disrespecting Teuchi Ryuutei's decision of a harmonious coexistence, with the help of their elder children, Kyo and Kitsune Ryuutei.
Finally, the Mizukage decided to wipe out the entire clan once and for all. Sending their most skilled ANBU, the Kirigakure organized a mission to kill every clan member inside the village, leaving only their youngest alive for the study of the Ryuutei chakra, Tetsuo Ryuutei. But, in the night of the attack, the ANBU sneaked into the Clan estate and surprised themselves to see each and every member slain by their our leader, who seemed to have lost the control over his Ryuutei powers and went on a rampage against his own blood. Luckily, the ANBU managed to rescue the young Tetsuo in time, who was nearly dead. His memory was molded thru a lasting and complex genjutsu treatment to wipe out the existance of the clan and his childhood memories, keeping the Ryuutei's real history a complete secret. The only flaw in the mission was the escape of Kyo And Kitsune Ryuutei.

The Brothers of Fury are trying to regain their forces, having both Kitsune and Kyo as their official leaders. The limited number of Ryuutei's inside the rebel actions against Kirigakure and the loss of the inside help given by the Ryuutei Clan made they retreat to the Rice Country, where they wait for the right time to strike while they gather forces, disguised as mere bandits gangs.

Structure
The special chakra of the Ryuutei is only passed on to the male clan members, for some unkown reason. So, all the female members were trained in diplomatic and medical skills, while the men trained controlling their chakra and their bodies. The training was harsh and cruel, being carried on secretly during the peace times with the Kirigakure without the Mizukage's knowing, but all the clans techniques have been lost the day the Clan's estate was burned down.

The head of the clan was decided by simple and direct battle. The one who survived had the right to command the others, proving himself to be the rightful heir of Teuchi. The next challange can only be called out 15 years after the fighting decision.

Learning (awakening) of the chakra methods:
The student of the Ryuutei chakra must, of course, be a memeber of the clan. It is a very individual art, since once this chakra arise, (which occours in any given moment of his life, but eventually will occour, there was never born a amle Ryuutei without this chakra, only those who choose to keep it always restrained and shut inside them), the user must learn to control it by himself. This tests the Ryuutei student capacity to control it and it's development, the youngest ones to do so are often seen as possible candidates to the leadership of the clan.

The chakra often awakens when a serious trauma is placed on the student, which were often "encouraged" by his family, but not always, killing the student's friends or sibilings being the most common way to do so. Once this given moment rises, the stage corresponding to his barbarian ability (barbaran rage, improved barbarian rage or mighty rage), but falling to exhaustion right after doing so.

RP rules
MUST have barbarian levels. The power of the bloodline varies according to his Barbarian Rage feat, following the scheme:

Beast's Wrath aka Yajyuu no Gekido (Barbarian Rage)- +4 STR and CON, +4 Initiative Rolls, 2 extra HP (accumulates with the recently changed CON stat), 4 extra Chakra, adds 1d4 to physical damage rolls, -2 Blocking/Dodging, +4 against Genjutsu, Can't use Ninjutsu/Genjutsu. The eyes of the Ryuutei start glowing blue, his voice takes a thundering tone

Dragon's Wrath aka Ryuu no Gekido (Improved Barbarian Rage)- +6 STR and CON, +6 Initiative rolls, 3 extra HP, 6 extra Chakra, 1d4 to physical damage rolls, -2 Blocking/Dodging, +6 against Genjutsu, Can't use Ninjutsu/Genjutsu. Blue glowing tatoos starts forming around the Ryuutei, his eyes turn into a deep blue color, with pure chakra sparking from them.

God's Wrath aka Kami no Gekido (Mighty Rage)- +8 STR and CON, +8 Initiative Rolls, 4 extra HP, 8 extra Chakra, adds 1d4 to physical AND ninjutsu damage rolls, -2 Blocking/Dodging, +8 against Genjutsu, Can't use Genjutsu (the user is so used to control his wild chakra that he can shift the Ryuutei chakra into his known ninjutsu. Only techniques of Genjutsu doesn't work with Ryuutei Chakra, wich can be only used for destructive and harmful purposes and jutsus.) Blue flames of chakra surrounds the user's entire body.

The rage effect lasts for a 1d10+Wisdom+Constitution rounds, consuming 5 chakra for each round. The user may end the Ryuutei chakra whenever he whants, but if the user reaches 0 chakra before this period ends, the Ryuutei chakra starts taking control, harming the user slowly (1d6 per round). No matter what style of Wrath he may acquire, he stays permanentely at God's Wrath (Kami no Gekido) stage until the user dies or goes unconscious, with a difference of receiving -4 to Block/Dodge rolls instead of the regular -2.
At this stage of uncontrollable chakra, red falmes of chakra starts consuming the user instead of the God's Wrath stage blue flames, until he is forced to stop. Also at this stage, the user will try to crush down everything on it's path. If it moves, he'll try to kill it.

After the rage period ends, either by the will of the user or not, the user becomes completely worn out. He cannot use any of his left chakra until he rests, also gaining a -2 on ALL his rolls in case of the Beast's Wrath, -4 in Dragon's Wrath and -6 in God's Wrath. By any chance this penaltys reduces one of the status or HP (not the CP) to less than 0, the user passes out.

Title: The Blind Dragon God


The origins of this man and his powers are unknown, legend says that an actual Dragon God blessed him and all those who would share his blood with the wrath of heavens, giving him the power to strike everything. But if he used his powers in any way unwise, it would be his doom. In a matter of fact, even if this legend is true or not, the words of this story apply to every clan member. Teuchi had a weak, calm and senile appearance, but his strength surpassed even the own Mizukage's. He was the only known Ryuutei that managed to keep his emotions and temperament balanced even when he used the clan special abilities. His last wishes were those of a man truly tired of conflicts: to accept the Mizukage's humiliation and attempt to live at peace. He never saw his dream become true enough.

Shinji Ryuutei (deceased)
Title: The Dragon King Tainted in Red


Known as the strongest man of the last days of the Ryuutei, Shinji was a extremely cruel man, who only believed in the way of the sword. In his opinion, the only way for the clan to restore its former glory was to destroy those who have closed and dirtied it's name after wasting it in endless wars. Disrespecting the founder's decision for peace, Shinji restored bonds amongst the original Clan and the Brothers of Fury, aiding their purpose and drawing the village closely to a civil war. That, until the clan extermination. The reason why did Shinji lost control that night remains unknown, but no investigations were made, since the clan ended up exterminated the same way.

Kitsune Ryuutei (missing)
Title: The Dragon Amongst the Cherry Blossoms


The most beautiful and wild woman amongst the Ryuutei, she was Shinji's middle daughter. Hating being treated as the mere leader's daughter, she insisted receiving ninja training and the ryuutei's secret training, away from the mizukage's sight. Even though she didn't had the furious chakra, like any other woman in the clan, she proved herself to be more skilled than any other Ryuutei, being surpassed only by her father and her elder brother, Kyo. Today she takes the leadership of the Brothers of Fury along with her brother. She is admired by her subordinates by her spirit and courage as she is by her beauty. the only thing she regrets by fleeing the Mist village was to leave her little brother, Tetsuo, behind.

Kyo Ryuutei (missing)
Title: The Young Dragon God


Young and skilful, he mastered all the academy and Ryuutei's techniques by the age of 5. At 7, he was already a Jounin working as a double agent for Mist and the Brothers of Fury, although his loyalty always remained truly with his rebel colleagues. He was envyed and hated by every shinobi from Kirigakure that knew something about the Ryuutei's history, having the Mizukage always on an eye on him. But they kept him as a shinobi, it's been ages since noone seen someone that skillful. After his clan massacre, he is the head of the Brothers of Fury, where he secretly trains his men and gathers resources and contacts from the underworld, always keeping his and the rebels location undetected. It can be said that if it weren't for him, the rebels would be executed by now.

The Brothers of Fury


History
Although it is not in the peak of it's efficience since Shinji Ryuutei was killed, the Brothers of Fury remain on it's savage battle against Kirigakure. Since the Ryuutei clan has been split after the Great Ninja wars, the most unsatisfied members of the clan did not listen to the ancient clan leader, and prefered to leave their home instead of taking all that humilliation. Even so, no room wasa left for them in the Water Country, always being hunted down by Kiri ANBU shinobi. That made them flee away to the rice country, completely empty handed. From that day on, any of them would reffer themselves as a Ryuutei anymore.

Once they settled themselves, the now called Brothers of Fury started as mere mercenaries hired for those who couldn't pay for expensive ninjas from any of the hidden villages. Their equal skill, or even higher, in comparisson to their extremely low prices made their services become quite famous and lucrative, until they had enough resources to return to the Water Country and start their skirmish against Kiri. Besides, after all those years in the rice country taken to grow a considerable force against Kirigakure, the new Ryuutei clan leader made contact, showing simpathy for their cause, handing them valuable information that could make their strikes more effective even if the Brothers of Fury couldn't be of any match against the Kirigakure's number.

Once the attacks begun, the village started to become rather weakened, after the rebels killing many kiri ninjas and taking over most of their supply routes. It was a matter of time before the Mizukage started to become suspicious of how those rebels have put their hands into confidential Kiri information, and then secretely started investigating. For a matter of security, no shinobi that had any involvement with the Ryuutei was informed of those investigations. The prejudice against the clan was always present, and the fact that were former Ryuutei who led the rebel attacks have made the relations of Ryuutei and Kirigakure even more hostile. After only a few months, the connection between Shinji Ryuutei and his two older children was found.

The night that the clan estate was burned to ashes and Shinji Ryuutei killed, Kirigakure turned the tables once the locations of the rebels were discovered due to documents found inside the clan leader's chambers. Again, the Brothers of Fury were merciless destroyed by swift and direct Kirigakure operations. Now their power were reduced to closely nothing. They fled back to the Rice Country, defeated. But the sucess of the Kirigakure was not entirely complete. Kyo and Kitsune Ryuutei were still missing, and according to the assumptions of Kirigakure, they fled with all the secret manuscripts containing all the information about the Ryuutei Chakra and their unknown techniques, wich is said that increases the clan chakra destructive power to an even higher level.

Today, Kyo Ryuutei has taken the leadership of the surviving Brothers of Fury, training secretly all the survivors together with his sister, Kitsune Ryuutei. The rebels are laying low, and instead of risking to be discovered, they now try to recover their lost resources in the underworld, involved since drugs to enslavery and prostitution. Thanks to the brilliant mind of their leader, they quickly positioned themselves safely in the crime world, and their resources are increasing much faster then Kirigakure would ever imagine (in fact, the brothers of Fury were so destroyed by the village that they even notice it as a menace anymore). It is only a matter of time before they regain their power, and increase to much more than anyone could have thought.

Structure
There are only a few dozens of actual member who can use the Ryuutei chakra, including Kyo and Kitsune. All the other members are thugs and hired mercenaries who have been receiving ninja training. Even that their skills may match regular shinobi's, they are still mere thugs and criminals inside. But none of this matters to the actual survivors, their seek for revenge has completely blinded them to it, not caring anymore about the means to victory. But they are not so relentless to leave those mercenaries loose. Thanks to the ability of Kyo to translate the manuscriptswith the ancient secret techniques of the Ryuutei, the former Ryuutei members managed to reserve that knowledge to themselves. Specially Kyo, that reserved the even more powerful jutsu for himself, in order to keep every step of the organization under his control.

The Ryuutei Scrolls

"The one who follows the dragon's path shall never put someone else's orders before his own beliefs.

Being althruistic is just one step away from being someone's leach. The loyalty of one holding the dragon brand is very valuable, and shall not be given away recklessly.

Discern stupidity from bravery, never let yourself be humilliated and never count for anyone to stand up for you.

The dragon brand must be seen as the ultimate reward of those who follows the dragon path, all must be proud of receiveing it.
Die before bowing to anyone, and if the enemy delivers death to your doorstep, take as many as you can with you.

To die touching the sky is the greatest blessing the Dragon God can give a mortal.

Present no mercy to the merciless, and recognize when is the time for war and peace.

To use your inheritance gained form the Blind Dragon God is what discerns the worthy and the worthless.

Grudge is the most dangerous poison there is to run the dragon's veins. If there is a score to settle, do it before it's too late, or give up if the Clan suffers from it.

Those who choose the dragon path must never expect that others help them in selfish and greedy purposes. If one desire's to do so, let him do it by himself. If succeeds, he will prove he's worthy of what he gained.

A life gained by humiliation is worse than death, but giving up life without showing your fangs is worse than everything."




OOC: i've been working on this list for custom jutsu for the Ryuutei clan. It'd have a few IC requesites to learn them since the ancient scrolls containing these jutsu is on the hands of the Brothers of Fury. The ideal thing would be to pay an extra tokens amount to reach the bloodline cost to strong (like + 20 tokens i think) making the one who tries learning it having to pass thru a very harsh and dangerous ritual (to explains the extra 5 chakra gained for Strong bloodline jutsu) to gain even more control of his chakra required to perform these jutsu, and get an event to get its hands on the jutsu information, joining the Brothers of Fury or not, i'll leave that learning part for the DM's to decide. Even so, it's still an idea that im sending to see if i can get the approval xD so, here it goes:


Ryuutei Jutsu

All of these jutsu can only be used by Ryuutei chakra, with the bloodline standard abilities activated. Also, most of them are classified by what kind of "Wrath" have the user upraded his chakra, Beast's, Dragon's or God's. This may decides the rank of the jutsu and its effectiveness. Although the Beast's Wrath and Dragon's Wrath mode chakra cant be used for ninjutsu, they can use it for Ryuutei Jutsu as long as the requirements are fulfilled.

The Ryuutei clan has no affinity whatsoever with genjutsu.

Dragon Rejuvenescence Jutsu
Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Requirement: God's Wrath chakra
Rank: B
Chakra cost: 8
RP desc: The user manipulates its wild chakra to create an temporary balance, allowing himself to remain with it as long as possible. It takes form as a blue chakra dragon that flyes around the user, containing it's chakra loss.
PVP desc: The Ryuutei chakra wont spend 5 chakra per turn for a duration of 1d10+half the Const mod rounds.

Greater Dragon Rejuvenescence Jutsu
Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu

RP description: An improved version of Dragon Rejuvenescence jutsu, with the difference of being able to restore his body and chakra in the process. The chakra molded dragon doesnt just holds the user chakra, yet it slowly recovers it and some of his wounds.
PVP description: Like Dragon Rejuvenescence, and at each round the jutsu is active, the user recovers 2 cp and 2 hp per turn. This won't increase your max hp and cp values.

Chakra Wall

Requirement: Dragon's Wrath chakra, God's Wrath chakra

RP desc: The user would mold the chakra envolving his body in form of tatoos or blue fames and spawns it out of his body, creating a protective shell that makes the user resistant to many attacks, with the cost of having the violent form of the chakra harming his body instead.
PVP desc: Grants the user a 3 (Dragon's Wrath chakra) or 6 (God's Wrath chakra) damage reduction, but receives a 1d4/1d6 damage per round depending on the damage reuction he applies (3 or 6, respectively). This damage, obviously, is not absorved by the damage reduction, but can be avoided by rolling a d20 (1-12 means no damage,13-20 means you take the damage). It last for 1d6 + half the const mod rounds.

Flying Dragon Jutsu
Jutsu type: Taijutsu
Requirements. None. Once learned, can be used as a regular jutsu.
RP desc: The user gets able to move at a blinding speed
Special: This one is actually aadapted version of Flicker Jutsu created by the Ryuutei clan. It has the exact same aspects of Flicker Jutsu

Twilight Dragon Slash
Jutsu type: Taijutsu
Requirements: Flying Dragon Jutsu
Rank: C
Chakra cost: 5
RP desc: This move consists on the user striking the enemy once with his weapon, and instantly using his Flying Dragon Jutsu to immediately moving towards a spot with an open guard due the first hit and performs a second strike as the target can't even realise what happened. Very similar to Two Slashes One Strike move, but more direct and powerful, since it's other effect is to confuse the target.
PVP desc: +1d4 damage on hit, -1 on the target's next defense roll.

Twin Twilight Dragon Slash
Jutsu type: Taijutsu
Requirements: Dragon Twilight Slash, Flying Dragon Jutsu

RP desc: Similar to Twilight Dragon Slash, only the the user uses the Flying Dragon Jutsu more than once as if many attackers went to it's target, swinging more devastating strikes that breaks entirely thru the enemy's defense.
PVP desc: +1d6 damage, -2 on the target's next defense roll.

Twilight Dragon Storm
Jutsu type: Taijutsu
Requirements: Twin twilight Dragon Slash, God's Wrath chakra.

RP desc: Similar to the other Twilight Dragon attacks, the user masters the use of the Flying Dragon Jutsu so perfectly that it sends countless attacks to a limited number of enemys, and does not stop striking until their bodies hit the ground.
PVP desc: +1d8 damage, -4 on the target's next defense rolls. Up to 3 targets.

The Dragon God Slash
Jutsu type: Taijutsu
Requirements: God's Wrath chakra, other 4 of any Ryuutei jutsu.

RP desc: The user concentrates all of his Ryuutei chakra into this one blow. As he strikes, all of the chakra takes an huge blue dragon form as he thrusts at the target together with him. This jutsu has an enormous destructive power, but it was forbidden due to the effects on the user. Besides harming his body as well, it unbalances the flow of the chakra, having the chance of the user enter in a uncontrollable frenzy as the chakra flames surrounding his body turn red.
PVP desc: +3d8+1d6 damage, 1d10+half the user wis mod damage dealt to the user. Roll Con after the move, DC 22, to remain conscious and keep the chakra balanced. In case of failure, the user enters at the endless rage estate of chakra.

Dragon Spirit Jutsu
Requirements: Beast's Wrath chakra
Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: D
Chakra cost: 3
RP desc: The user of this jutsu triggers his inner hostility to the maximum, giving up his reflexes and defenses for more effetive strikes.
PVP desc: +1 attack rolls, -1 defense rolls. Lasts 1d6 rounds. The bonus and penalties are cummulative to the Ryuutei chakra bonus.

Dragon Sacrifice Jutsu
Requirements: Beast's Wrath chakra
Jutsu type: Ninjutsu
Rank: D
Chakra cost: 3
RP desc: In extremely emergencial cases, this jutsu is used to support the user on very dangerous situations. It consists on drawing his life energy to support his chakra, and vice-versa. This is the most basic Ryuutei Jutsu, that all members used to learn once they chakra was awakened.
PVP desc: roll 1d10 and choose to subtract it from your CP or HP. That value will be added to the HP or CP, depending on wich you wished to subtract. This can turn out to be a double-edged blade if both values are less than the roll value, the chakra will collide and the user will pass out, not entering the chakra frenzy if his cp goes to 0.

Akira Ryuutei (missing)
Title: The Wild Dragon



He was known as one of the best and unpredictable fighters of the organization, and being Kyo Ryuutei's childhood friend. His friendship has remained a secret to the rest of the clan from the day they met, since Akira descendants were with the Brothers of Fury, making himself and Kyo being from different worlds. Once Kyo managed to escape the slaughter of the Ryuutei and become the leader of the Brothers of Fury, Akira stood by his side. BUt his disagreeing to it's methods, like acting as criminal institutions puppets in order to get more power. He left the Brothers of Fury and now work for neither them or Kirigakure. He acts on his on, wandering around the land, using his Ryuutei abilities on whatever he seems fit to stick his nose in. There are always rumors about some punk-hair guy being kicked of taverns for starting fights or disturbing the peace, and according to those who knew Akira, that sounds just like him.

The King



The King is greedy just as he is despicable...and large. This extremely fat man is the lor dof the underwold, running all sorts of illegal activities acroos all countries. He has recently taken in the remaining Brothers of Fury and promised them power and money in exchange for their abilities and training his thugs, and the trade has been going well so far. But he is no fool, and fearing that the organization leader, Kyo Ryuutei, may manage to take his place like he did with many other criminal bosses. He always keeps an eye on their actions, awaiting to make his move to take Kyo out. And thats exactly what Kyois expecting.
