(白眼; Viz "Evil Eye" or "All Seeing white Eye"; Literally meaning "White Eye")

The Byakugan is a genetic trait that is shared amongst the members of the proud Hyuga Clan. Those that inherit the blood of this clan have almost featureless white eyes, which are the focus for many of their dojutsu. Although it is not stated directly in the manga, it is presumed that all members of the Hyuga family possess the Byakugan, unlike the members of the Uchiha, who are not all born with the Sharingan. It is a common belief that the Sharingan is a genetic offshoot of the Byakugan.

Hinata and Neji Hyuga are among the 2 main characters who use the Byakugan.

The Byakugan, as stated above, is the primary focus of the Hyuuga's special arts. After awakening the Byakugan, which is denoted by veins along the user's temples surfacing to just under the skin, the Byakugan allows for the user to see with near 360º vision, meaning that they can literally see everything around them, except for one blind spot above the spine and under the head which differs from user to user. They also have the ability to see through solid objects, and can use a degree of telescopic sight. The distance and the degree of telescopic sight varies from person to person. At the beginning of the show, Neji Hyuga could see 50 meters, but later he could see over 800 meters.

However, one of the greatest uses of the Byakugan is the ability to see the chakra circulation system inside of another's body. It is from this paticular ability that they are able to employ their ultimate attack style: Gentle Fist or Jyūken. Much in contrast with typical Taijutsu style of goken, or ferocious fist, which is focused on being insanely fast and strong, the Gentle Fist style focuses on being quick and precise, not focusing on damage. Each strike, when placed correctly, strikes along the keirakurei, which is the network of vessels that carry chakra. This network is closely intertwined with the functioning of the body's organs, and so when the keirakurei take damage, the organs suffer as well. The Byakugan is the dojutsu most suited to the Jyūken style, since its vision can penetrate the body. There is no defense against the gentle fist, since one cannot train one's internal organs to become stronger. The only possible defense is to stop the Gentle fists hits from connecting..

Particularly skilled users of the Byakugan, which appear only rarely, such as Neji Hyuga, can take the Jyūken attacks one step further. Along the keirakurei are 361 pinprick-sized nodes called Tenketsu, or chakra points. When struck, these tenketsu will seal off, which close the opening points from which chakra is emitted. The chunnin exam fight between Neji and Hinata is an example. Thus, with precision, all those points along the victim's body can be sealed, stopping the chakra flow to those areas. Most of the Hyuga clan cannot even perform this because the Tenketsu are too small to see. Neji Hyuga is the rare exception, having taught himself the ultimate Hyuga technique, Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms. Able to strike without force, and yet do more damage to a ninja than some of the most powerful Ninjutsu, the Gentle Fist is the greatest Taijutsu style known in all of Konoha. Neji Hyuga knows a more powerful technique Eight Trigrams One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms

In-Game PvP RP fight Rules

Hyuuga System

+2 to rolls. Can see some things in certain radius, no spot required. (dm's make the call).

Buffs crit range to 19 because of internal dmg.

(Gentle Fist Technique):
Hyuuga's basic taijutsu move. whatever it rolls as it’s damage…it does that to the chakra network as well. So it damages both HP and CP.

Hakke Kusho
(Eight Trigrams Empty Palm)
A palm thrust, done while out of arms' reach, pushes away the victim violently.

Regular Damage+1d6. Does not do chakra damage.
costs 4 chakra points

Hakkesho Kaiten
(Eight Trigram Palms Heavenly Spin)
(Normally Main Branch Only):
By rotating and exerting chakra evenly through the body, the user is able to fend off attacks from almost any angel. This is a defensive roll.

Its a wis roll +2
and if it connects with an emeny it takes 1d8 to the opponent if he fails his attack roll, counter dmg only works for melee attacks.
costs 8 chakra points

Eight Trigrams Mountain Crusher
Another focused variation of Eight Trigrams Palms Heavenly Spin, the Eight Trigrams Mountain Crusher sends a wave of focused chakra directly towards an opponent, more than enough to shatter rock.

Regular Damage+1d10. Does not do chakra damage.
costs 8 chakra points

Hakke Rokujuyon Sho
(Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms)(Normally Main Branch Only):
This is a combination of Ninjutsu and Taijutsu. A very advanced Gentle Fist Style technique, the user must be able to see the Chakra holes (tenketsu, "pressure points")) of the opponent and execute it with incredible dexterity and precision in order for it to be effective. In a series of two heavy strikes, followed by two more, followed by four, followed by eight, followed by sixteen, followed by a dazzling thirty-two consecutive pinpoint-precision strikes, this jutsu closes 64 of the 361 tenketsu of the opponent completely. The last of the sixty-four strikes appears to be a blow with the full, open hand, rather than the fingertips of the index and middle fingers.

This move uses two rounds to do. first round you
Roll WIS first to get in range of youre opponent.
then if succeded roll dex next round to strike him.
Eight Trigrams, 64 palms does 1d8 damage and 2d20(or 4d10) cp damage.
this move cost's 12 chakra

Hakke Hyaku Nijuhachi Sho
(Eight Trigrams One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms)(Normally Main Branch Only):
Assumably, this technique would strike each of the special 64 Tenketsu (chakra holes) twice when directed at a single, humanoid opponent, an even more devastating blow than the Sixty-Four Palms. The attacks in this technique are clearly executed at a much higher speed than the Sixty-Four Palms, making it even more dangerous.

This move uses two rounds to do. first round you
Roll WIS first to get in range of youre opponent.
then if succeded roll dex next round to strike him
Eight trigrams, one hundred twenty palms does 3d8 dmg and 3d20 + 1d10 chakra dmg.
this move cost's 20 chakra

Addition to all this is...when performing the palms, they get +4 to get them within circle, and then if the person gets caught, he then gets +6 to do it.
