A brief History:
Akane has grief with the world, she mopes about seeking love in all the wrong places and wondering if she will ever find it. Shani had set her up on a date with Akykyo, who commented on her lovely dress but told her she was mistaken. She sulked away, after which Kiryuu had given her a flower and told her she was beautiful, she beamed and gazed into his eyes intently as he did likewise, before he knew it, time had passed and he was late for his training so he ran away in a hurry, promising to see her again. After a few months, Akane had still not heard from him so she had given up all hope and moved on. She sat sulking at Thardo's Tea Shop were she met up with Tong who she glimpsed at and found herself asking 'why hadn't i seen this before?' and began to blush. One thing led to another, they began to hold hands almost everywhere they went. Akane becoming more and more blissfully happy.

As for her past, she only mopes about never being loved, having asked out one guy after the next and being turned down for one reason or the next. She never speaks of her home life, not knowing anything.
